Dragon DNA - Breeding Dragons to create Offspring
Dragon DNA - Breeding Dragons
Students use their knowledge of heredity and the passing of traits to breed dragons and create a picture of their offspring. Students will work in pairs in the lab to produce a dragon from the random
mixing of genetic traits. Each student will be a surrogate dragon parent. They will pick
up a complete set of dragon chromosomes.
For the Projects you will need to complete:
1. The Sketch of the Baby Dragon - listing its traits
2. The list of Dragon Genome Traits from the provided chart - "Our Baby."
You can see some examples of the work from last year's class.
